iOS Emulators vs iOS Simulators.
Emulators are virtual programs used to create an OS environment different from the native OS of the device. iOS emulators for Windows create an iOS environment for running iPhone apps on Windows PCs.
Simulators also develop an OS environment but do not try to create a copy of hardware as emulators do. Due to this limitation, simulators fail to run some apps.
Most of the users prefer iOS emulators over simulators. Most developers use emulators to develop and test apps.

Do you still have any queries or suggestions? Let me know in the comments below. I will reply as quickly as possible.
iPadian is my favorite iOS Emulator for Windows computer.
iOS Emulator is very useful for running iOS apps on PC
It’s very helpful for my iOS app development project thanks mate
Appetize works best for me
Yeah it very good emulator.
Wrong on some levels. Lets start with IPadian is not an EMULATOR, it is a SIMULATOR. That means it is a program to act like, but not be like, an iPad. There is no ability to run apps from the app store for example. Xamarin was bought by Tech Giant MICROSOFT not Apple.
Great list, very comprehensive! Personally, I prefer using Appetize which I found when I was searching for a better alternative to Xamarin on alternatives.co. It is honestly the best emulator I have tried so far.
yeah it’s pretty good.
Good compilation of the emulators. Hope some of these can really emulate the ios apps on windows computer.
-You should read up on what a simulator is,
Emulators and simulators should never be mixed together,.. I see this on all the “top 5 lists”, the copy/paste bloggers are plentiful indeed.
I am shocked there is so hard to find emulators that can run GarageBand on windows with zero drop in quality. The conspiracy part of my brain says that Apple is working extremely hard to keep their goldmine app ios only.I would buy ipads unless for GarageBand, but a pro set you back 1500usd and I am not buying a new one this time.Man…I fuckin loathe Apple and their business model for supremacy.
Firstly, there’s no place for copy paste on techonation. Agree with you on the fact that these emulators can only run basic apps due to Apple’s business agenda.
IPadian is one of the best.
Ipadian charges you and provides a broken download link, does not actually emulate anything, and none of there apps can actually run an IOS game like Infinity Blade on a PC for free.
I have to thank you for the efforts you’ve put in penning this website.
I’m hoping to see the same high-grade blog posts from you in the future as well.
In truth, your creative writing abilities has motivated
me to get my very own blog now 😉
Nice post thanks for sharing
Any of these offer multiple instances for the same game?
How do I download Mobione Studio? It’s discontinued its services, and I can’t find any download link (Not even any Third-Party sites) for it! What do I do?
Will share the link if it’s available somewhere till then use other emulators.
Hi, I am new to this emulator thing, but I have ONE specific app use EVERY DAY that is ONLY AVAILABLE on IOS and there is no android support coming, it is the only I have an iPhone, and I would like to be able to get rid of my iPhone and switch to android and KEEP MY APP. I was thinking I could use an emulator to get the app on my PC, but now after reading this I am not sure that would be possible. Am I wrong, or am I looking in the wrong spot? Please help me out…
Check out this article- https://techonation.com/best-ios-emulator-for-android/
Just today I was shown Apple News. I would like to read it on my PC. I am not a software (app) developer. I just want to subscribe to Apple News. Two questions.
1. Which free app will allow me to do this?
2. How much ram will it cost me?. I only have 4 megs.
IPadian will do the job, though they started charging some bucks now.
Don’t worry about Ram it won’t eat much!
…..trying to find BlueStack-type iOS emulator, but none of these work like bluestack. seems like its all for devs only.
i don’t mind paying, but it has to be something like bluestack, and allows me to install and run iOS apps so i can run it on a desktop monitor, instead of on a ipad or smaller. and as a end user, and not as a developer.
Mobione Studio was discontinued years ago and you cannot download it in 2019.
The only way to do it, is to buy a cheap iOS device.
Yes, you can play with an iOS simulator, but it isn’t the same as a true iOS emulator that will allow you to connect to the App Store.
You get many simulators that “look” like iOS, but they have the same problem, they’re not emulators, or they run in a browser and allow you to play with browser based apps. You can’t actually go into the App Store and just install any app.
is there app store???
“iPadian is a simulator, not an emulator. It gives you an impression of using the iOS, so that you can see and feel the difference between Android and the iOS. iPadian does not create a local version of the iOS on your device. iPadian does not allow you to access the iOS app store.”
